Home - Technology Master Plan
In November 2007, the Long Beach Unified School District began a comprehensive process to determine how technology can systematically enhance teaching and learning as well as support administrative functions. Over the next 18 months, this process involved a districtwide committee of approximately 150 stakeholders, including teachers, classified staff, and administrators from both the Central Office and schools. It also encompassed a needs assessment survey and a technology inventory that covered over 20,000 workstations and other equipment. The entire interactive effort led to the development of a Technology Master Plan.
This Plan outlines key goals, objectives, and processes to ensure that all students and staff members benefit from technology. It is aligned with both the 菠菜网lol正规平台 Strategic Plan and the School Building Plan.
The Board of Education unanimously approved the Plan on May 19, 2009.
